My role ππ½ββοΈ
Sole product designer, UX-UI.
Scentbird acquired Drift six months prior to my arrival. Drift is an e-commerce brand specializing in fragrances for cars and home interiors. The project involved a complete redesign of the website, with the goal of establishing a cohesive and scalable product experience.

Sole product designer, UX-UI.
8 months
As the sole Product Designer on the Drift website, I designed, structured, and maintained the design system, with the objective of ensuring interface consistency and scalability as both the product and the team evolve.
An initial version of the site had already been launched, based on a new art direction defined by Scentbird Creative team. Joining the project, I conducted a full audit of the existing design system to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Initial Components
I rationalized the typography, removed unused styles, and redefined a clear hierarchy to ensure better readability and consistent usage across the site.
Starting from a limited color palette, I structured the color system by introducing design tokens (backgrounds, strokes, buttons, etc.), allowing color usage to be isolated and future visual changes to be implemented without impacting the entire interface.

I also reworked buttons and their various states, designed responsive product cards, and created an image library dedicated to fragrance notes and the products sold on the site.
Finally, I defined guidelines for banners and key site blocks and carried out in-depth work on components, with the goal of automating design usage, reducing decision-making time, and establishing a scalable foundation for the future growth of both the product and the team.
